GEBT 2025 opens next week, uniting the industry to bring about a low-carbon future, as well as a new chapter in intelligent building and home automation

Guangzhou, 3 June 2025. The 22nd Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) will run from 9 June at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, concurrently with Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) through to 12 June 2025. These events will host 3,188 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions, covering an overall exhibition area of 250,000 square meters. GEBT 2025 will focus on “low-carbon intelligent building”, “home automation” and “smart power distribution”, bringing together industry leaders and innovators to present advanced technologies, intelligent solutions, and practical achievements in energy saving and carbon reduction in buildings. Several forums will explore the latest electrical technology trends and the challenges and opportunities in low-carbon building development. Notably, the New Opportunities for China’s Building Electrics and Home Automation Abroad, as well as the OffiSmart Smart Office and Space Management Summit will make its debut in Guangzhou, promoting cross-industry collaboration.

GEBT 2025 key highlights: Discover low-carbon intelligent solutions in action
GEBT 2025 will be held across Halls 9.2, 12.2, and 13.2 in Zone B, featuring multiple themed zones, which include the KNX zone, the Matter zone, and a new zone dedicated to low-carbon intelligent building and energy management. The exhibition will comprehensively showcase advanced products and solutions related to low-carbon intelligent building, electrical engineering, home automation, smart power distribution, smart hotels, and smart audio-visual systems.   • Hall 9.2: From AIoT ecosystems to Internet of Everything
    This hall will showcase the extensive applications of AIoT across various scenarios, from everyday home environments to commercial spaces. It will focus on the integration of smart lighting and health ecosystems, intelligent building, and home and commercial applications, demonstrating the interconnection between technology and living spaces, and highlighting the latest innovations in IoT-driven environments.   • Hall 12.2: From smart audio-visual entertainment to home automation control systems
    Focusing on home automation technology and solutions, this hall will display systems for home entertainment, security, and smart appliances. Visitors can experience an immersive smart living environments that transcends spatial boundaries, embodying the intelligent lifestyle of the new generation. This hall will highlight next-generation low-carbon energy technologies and smart power distribution systems, featuring products related to energy storage, intelligent building, and home automation, all aimed at supporting smart energy management and fostering a low-carbon lifestyle. Empowering the future by exploring new frontiers in carbon reduction
This year’s GEBT will launch 17 professional forums and workshops that focus on key industry topics for thorough discussions. The forums will cover a wide range of themes, from standard protocols to innovative technologies, smart space, energy connectivity, intelligent building, and low-carbon transformation. They will examine topics such as low-carbon intelligent building technologies, intelligent integration, applications of AI, smart space, and PEDF (Photovoltaic, energy storage, direct current and flexibility) technologies. Industry associations, experts, and representatives from various companies will gather to share the latest trends and practical experiences, discuss policy developments, and seize opportunities for collaboration and international expansion. Establishing an international platform for showcasing innovations in electrical engineering and intelligent technologies
GEBT 2025, showcasing engaging themes and diverse displays, has successfully attracted industry players from around the world. This exhibition will welcome professional delegations from Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Hong Kong-Macau region. These includes the KNX User Club, the Malaysian Engineering Planning and Design group, the Indonesian Architectural Design delegation, representatives from Macau’s hotel facilities management group, the Irish Enterprise Business Exchange group, and the Vietnamese Construction Management media team.

Additionally, GEBT collaborates with renowned overseas industry media from Australia, India, Ireland, Malaysia, Pakistan, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, the Middle East, the UK and the US. Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition and Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology are part of Messe Frankfurt’s Light + Building Technology fairs headed by the biennial Light + Building event. The next edition will be held from 8 – 13 March 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany.
