GEBT 2024 builds solid foundations for business opportunities in smart spaces

Guangzhou, 20 June 2024. The 21st Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) concluded on 12 June 2024 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Held concurrently with Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE), the two fairs showcased 3,383 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions, while attracting 208,992 visitors. This year, GEBT promoted the exchange of expertise among participants and created numerous business opportunities in smart spaces.

GEBT 2024 opens today, exploring the frontiers of smart spaces

Guangzhou, 9 June 2024. The 21st Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) opens its doors today at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Taking place from 9 – 12 June 2024, the fair is held concurrently with Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE), together hosting 3,383 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions, with a record-breaking total exhibition area of 260,000 sqm. In addition to the increase in scale, this year’s GEBT hosts a series of forums aiming to expand the boundaries of smart technology application across different spaces.

GEBT 2024 to explore the advancement of smart spaces, fostering the green development of the building industry

Guangzhou, 22 April 2024. China’s building industry is accelerating its transformation towards green and smart development. The rapid advancement of technologies such as 5G communications, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT) is leading to a wider expansion of smart spaces. Delving into the potential of smart spaces, the 21st Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) aims to find out how the connection between people and spaces can be enhanced through technology, data, and equipment. It also strives to improve the experience of residents and building users, and create a more energy-efficient, low-carbon, and comfortable environment. GEBT and Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) will be held concurrently from 9 – 12 June 2024, at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, in areas A and B across 26 halls, covering a historic high of 260,000 sqm of exhibition space in total.

GEBT 2023 concludes with great success creating new business opportunities

The 20th edition of Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) closed on 12 June 2023 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. Alongside the concurrent Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE), the fairs hosted 3,318 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions, while visitors rose by 61.9% to 207,681. GEBT continues to provide a comprehensive platform for all participants to explore and promote the green development of the building industry.

GEBT 2023 returns on Friday with forums exploring green building topics

The 20th edition of Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) will take place from 9 to 12 June 2023 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. The fair will host 3,318 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions across 220,000 sqm of exhibition space alongside the concurrent Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE). A series of forums will also be offered, with leading partners including the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), KNX as well as Connectivity Standards Alliance and many other local organisations, providing insights on industry trends such as green buildings, low carbon emissions and smart development.

Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology concludes with a surge in visitor numbers

Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) wrapped up on Saturday, achieving its objective as outlined in this year’s show theme of “The integration of the smart technology ecosystem”. GEBT took place alongside Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) and together they gathered 1,288 exhibitors and attracted 128,202 visitors, a 31% increase from last year’s edition. With a variety of different industries gathered under one roof, GEBT provided a platform for promoting smart development within the electrical engineering industry.

Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology 2022 will run from 3 – 6 August, welcoming back leading brands from the smart building, audio-visual and electrical engineering industries. Held concurrently with Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE), the two fairs are expected to welcome 1,288 exhibitors across 110,000 sqm of exhibition space. Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology 2022 to integrate smart technologies this summer

Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) is set to bring leading brands from a variety of different industries together as the fair adopts the theme “The integration of the smart building ecosystem”. The show will be held alongside Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) once again at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. Returning this summer as a hub for smart building technologies, the exact show dates will be announced soon following close coordination with the fairground. In 2021, both shows featured 2,036 exhibitors and attracted 97,688 visitors.

After a successful four-day run at the China Import and Export Centre, Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) concluded on 6 August. Held concurrently once again with Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) the fairs attracted 2,036 exhibitors and 97,688 visitors. The synergy between the two shows as well as the advancement in IoT and AIoT technologies and their adoption in the Chinese market created more opportunities for exhibitors and buyers in this year’s edition.

Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) and Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) will take place from 3 – 6 August 2021 now that the pandemic situation is under control in Guangdong province. The two concurrent fairs, which were originally scheduled for June, will take place at the China Import and Export Fair Complex.

Next month’s Guangzhou Light + Building fairs postponed

The two Guangzhou editions that form part of Messe Frankfurt’s Light + Building portfolio, Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) and Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT), have been postponed due to recent Covid-19 cases in the city. The fairs were originally scheduled to run from 9 – 12 June at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. A new date for the two events will be announced shortly.

Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology concluded, reconfirming its status in the booming intelligent building market

New dates of 10 – 13 October for Messe Frankfurt’s Guangzhou Light + Building fairs

Due to a more favourable date becoming available at the fairs’ venue, the organiser of Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) and Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) has announced the two shows will now take place from 10 – 13 October. An expected 2,000-plus exhibitors will take part in the two fairs spanning 19 halls at the China Import and Export Fair Complex.

Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology rescheduled to 30 September – 3 October 2020

Originally planned to be held in June, Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) has been rescheduled to 30 September – 3 October. The concurrent Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition will also take place on these new dates, with both fairs held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. GEBT will continue to support the industry with the goal to inject a fresh momentum by showcasing new products and technologies.

Messe Frankfurt postpones its upcoming Guangzhou Light + Building fairs

Messe Frankfurt has announced that the two concurrent fairs in its Light + Building portfolio, Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) and Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT), have been postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Both fairs were originally due to take place from 9 – 12 June, and will now be held at a future date which will be announced shortly. They will remain at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou.

Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology 2019 brought new trends under the spotlight

The 2019 edition of Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) ended on a positive note on June 12th. Held concurrently with Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE), the two trade fairs attracted 172,856 industry professionals from 133 countries and regions, a 4% increase from last year. 243 exhibitors were featured at GEBT this year. Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology closed with an increase in visitor numbers to reveal China’s rising demand for smart household applications

Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology 2018 reaffirmed its influence in South China’s intelligent building and smart home sector as the total visitor figure with Guangzhou International Lighting Fair reached more than 165,000, a 5% increase from the last edition.
