According to the Administrative Law of the People’s Republic of China on Entry and Exit of Foreigners, foreigners entering China should apply for a visa to the Chinese diplomatic representative or consular offices, or other institutions authorised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of People’s Republic of China.

Travel to Guangzhou

High-speed rail (Hong Kong to Guangzhou)

 Taking the high-speed rail from the West Kowloon Station in Hong Kong to reach Guangzhou.  The journey time to Guangzhou East Station is 2 hours, and the journey time to Guangzhou South Station is 1 hour. Click here to view the train schedules and prices.

Guangzhou has three train stations for visitors to choose from.

Guangzhou Railway Station

Guangzhou Railway Station is located on Huanshi West Road in the Yuexiu District of Guangzhou. The Guangzhou Metro Lines 2 and 5 intersect at this station. This railway station primarily operates train services connecting Guangzhou with cities such as Beijing, Wuhan, Nanjing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Xi'an, and Lhasa.

Guangzhou East Station

Guangzhou East Station is located in the Tianhe District of Guangzhou. It corresponds to Guangzhou Metro Lines 3 and 5. The journey time to reach the West Kowloon Station in Hong Kong is 2 hours.

Guangzhou South Station

Guangzhou South Station is located in the Panyu District of Guangzhou.  It is linked to Metro Lines 5, 7, and 11, and serves as a major operations center for high-speed trains, bullet trains, and regular trains connecting Guangzhou to various destinations across the country.The journey time to reach the West Kowloon Station in Hong Kong is 1 hour.

 

In just 3.5 hours, visitors can arrive in Guangzhou by taking the cross-border coach from the Hong Kong International Airport (mainland coach station at Terminal 2). The coach service runs daily from 07:00 to 23:00. Click here to view the schedule.

Getting to the fairground

China Import and Export Fair Complex (Pazhou) is located in Haizhu District of Guangzhou with easy access to local major transportation network.

From Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is one of the most important aviation hubs in southern China, with a well-developed network of international and domestic flight routes to major cities.

  • Taxi: Travelling time around 30 minutes with approximately 150 CNY taxi fare.
  • Metro: Taking the Metro Line 3 from the Airport North Station (Terminal 2) or the Airport South Station (Terminal 1) to Kequn Station, and then transfer to Metro Line 8 to reach Xingang East Station or Pazhou Station. The fare is 7 CNY per person, and the journey takes approximately 65 minutes.

From Guangzhou Railway Station

  • Boarding Metro Line 2 (towards Guangzhou South Station) and getting off at Changgang Station. Then, transferring to Metro Line 8 (towards Wanshengwei Station) and getting off at either Xingang East Station (Exhibition Area A) or Pazhou Station (Exhibition Areas B or C). The total travel time is approximately 37 minutes.

From Guangzhou East Station

  • Boarding Metro Line 3 (towards Panyu Plaza Station) and getting off at Kecun Station. Then, transferring to Metro Line 8 (towards Wanshengwei Station) and getting off at either Xingang East Station (Exhibition Area A) or Pazhou Station (Exhibition Areas B or C). The total travel time is approximately 26 minutes.

From Guangzhou South Station

  • Boarding Metro Line 2 (towards Jiahewanggang Station) and getting off at Changgang Station. Then, transferring to Metro Line 8 (towards Wanshengwei Station) and getting off at either Xingang East Station (Exhibition Area A) or Pazhou Station (Exhibition Areas B or C). The total travel time is approximately 46 minutes.

By Guangzhou Metro:

  • Fares of Guangzhou Metro range from RMB 2 to RMB 12.
  • To visit Area A of the venue (Hall 1 – 8), visitors should get off at Xingangdong Station (Exit A)
  • To visit area B (Hall 9 – 13), visitor should go to Pazhou Station (Exit A)

Taking a Guangzhou taxi is the fastest and most convenient way to reach the exhibition venues.

From Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to the exhibition venues, the taxi fare is approximately CNY 150 and the journey time is around 45 minutes.

From Guangzhou Railway Station to the exhibition venues, the taxi fare is approximately CNY 60 and the journey time is around 30 minutes.

From Guangzhou East Station to the exhibition venues, the taxi fare is approximately CNY 45 and the journey time is around 20 minutes.

From Guangzhou South Station to the exhibition venues, the taxi fare is approximately CNY 70 and the journey time is around 35 minutes.
