GEBT 2023 concludes with great success creating new business opportunities
The 20th edition of Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) closed on 12 June 2023 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. Alongside the concurrent Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE), the fairs hosted 3,318 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions, while visitors rose by 61.9% to 207,681. GEBT continues to provide a comprehensive platform for all participants to explore and promote the green development of the building industry.
GEBT 2023 returns on Friday with forums exploring green building topics
The 20th edition of Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) will take place from 9 to 12 June 2023 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. The fair will host 3,318 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions across 220,000 sqm of exhibition space alongside the concurrent Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE). A series of forums will also be offered, with leading partners including the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), KNX as well as Connectivity Standards Alliance and many other local organisations, providing insights on industry trends such as green buildings, low carbon emissions and smart development.

China's building industry is proactively working towards reducing its carbon emissions in line with the country's carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals. In this regard, the 20th edition of Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) will take place from 9 to 12 June 2023 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, with its wide array of fringe events, focusing on recent industry topics such as green buildings, low-carbon emissions and cross-industry cooperation.
Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology concludes with a surge in visitor numbers
Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) wrapped up on Saturday, achieving its objective as outlined in this year’s show theme of “The integration of the smart technology ecosystem”. GEBT took place alongside Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) and together they gathered 1,288 exhibitors and attracted 128,202 visitors, a 31% increase from last year’s edition. With a variety of different industries gathered under one roof, GEBT provided a platform for promoting smart development within the electrical engineering industry.
GEBT 2022 to open next week, with smart technology forums to connect diverse industries
Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology 2022 will run from 3 – 6 August, welcoming back leading brands from the smart building, audio-visual and electrical engineering industries. Held concurrently with Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE), the two fairs are expected to welcome 1,288 exhibitors across 110,000 sqm of exhibition space. Running with the theme “The integration of the smart technology ecosystem”, the Smart Technology Ecosystem Conference will tie together a series of forums set to take place during the course of the show.
